Our lab addresses research problems at the frontiers of biophysics and soft matter. Our projects aim to uncover fundamental principles and guide practical applications of biological and soft materials, from simple model systems to complex materials for advanced technologies. To achieve this, we exploit unique synergistic approaches that combine cutting-edge experimental, computational, and analytical methods including neutron and X-ray scattering, fluorescence and optical spectroscopy, calorimetry, Langmuir techniques, atomic force microscopy, computer simulations, and data modeling.
Our team members come from different backgrounds, disciplines, and education levels (from high school students to postdocs), bringing in a rich diversity of skills and perspectives. We are also very fortunate to have an incredible network of collaborators worldwide. If you are interested in being part of our vibrant collaborative research environment, please contact us!
